Notice is hereby given that the Michigan City Plan Commission will hold its regular March meeting on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.; this will be a virtual meeting in compliance with current rules for conducting government business. Petition(s): (a) Petition P-100-21: Woodlawn Holdings Zero, LLC – Rose Series is requesting rezoning from R2B to R3B located at 312 East 8th Street Parcel ID No. 46-01-29-431-019.000-022 to convert the property into long-term residential apartments (Represented by Attorney Anthony G. Novak) 5. Old Business/New Business: - Resolution 1-21 Supporting Continuation of an Economic Revitalization Area (ERA) Designation - Discussion of agenda item: Approval of Agenda 6. Public Comment 7. Adjournment A copy of the proposed procedures and rules and each of the Petitions and/or Resolutions are currently on file in the Planning Department, City Hall, 100 East Michigan Boulevard, Michigan City, Indiana, and are available for examination at any time during normal business hours prior to said hearing. Notice is further given that this meeting and a public hearing on each of the Petitions listed above will be held at 6:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, the 23rd day of March, 2021 but shall be a virtual meeting and that interested persons may attend as described below and remonstrate, or written remonstrances may be filed prior to and up to the time of the hearing. Only agenda items will be considered at the meeting. The only agenda items are those outlined above. This meeting is open to the public; however, this is scheduled as a virtual meeting and all board members, participants and members of the public will only be able to attend the meeting remotely. Everyone will have two options for attending the meeting. Option one: you may join the meeting using the video conferencing tool Zoom (this requires that you download the free Zoom app onto your computer, laptop, tablet or smart phone). Option two: you may access the meeting using any phone line via a meeting conference call. Specific instruction for each option are as follows: Option 1: Join via the Zoom video conferencing app. 1. Download onto your device (computer, laptop, tablet or smart phone) the free Zoom app from the App Store. 2. Click on the Zoom app. 3. Click on Join A Meeting. 4. When prompted, enter the following: Meeting I.D. 873 0402 5660 Password 289615 5. Select to join with video or just audio. 6. Mute your device until you are called upon to speak. 7. When you are called upon to speak, unmute your device by clicking on the muted microphone icon. 8. When unmuted you will see the unmute microphone icon. Once you are done with your hearing, mute your device by clicking on the unmute microphone icon. - If the meeting hasn't started yet you will receive a notice stating: β€œSomeone in the meeting should let you in soon". Once the meeting is started you will be automatically added. 9. At the beginning of the hearing, a local board member will provide directions for attendee decorum and procedures.
