I recently had the pleasure of visiting La Porte for the first time since I was installed as chancellor of Indiana University South Bend. I spoke to a group of leaders and shared the good news about how IU South Bend is serving your community.

I told them about how IU South Bend created $364.1 million for the regional economy in FY 2018-19, according to a recently released economic impact report. These dollars benefit the area by educating citizens, enriching arts and culture, enhancing policymaking, developing sustainable infrastructure, and promoting economic growth.
