breaking ground for new building

Ground was broken on Saturday, Sept. 5, for the new Sawdust Trail Missionary Baptist Church at 405 N. Main St. in Kingsbury. Pastor Brother Joeseph Caples and his wife, Linda Caples, took part in the ceremony, along with sponsoring Pastor Brother James Candler and his wife, Sis, who came from Rock Island, Illinois, to lead in the services to consecrate ground for the new building. Church members are currently conducting services in Union Mills.
