Two new exhibits are on display at the La Porte County Historical Society Museum at 2405 Indiana Ave. in La Porte. The new gallery wall, above, features portraits from the museum’s collection, with a binder available to learn the stories behind the images. Another exhibit showcasing famous war reporter Ernie Pyle, below, is also on display. He started his career reporting at the La Porte Weekly Herald in 1923, and this month marks the 100th anniversary of his career in journalism.
