MICHIGAN CITY — Children will be taking to the streets for the annual rite of trick or treating, and safety is being stressed ahead of the celebration of Halloween.

Michigan City will celebrate Halloween in traditional fashion, with trick or treat planned for Sunday from 4-7 p.m., and Mayor Duane Parry reminds residents to take part in in a safe manner.
