MICHIGAN CITY – Michigan City Public Library soon will receive a $1.6 million facelift of sorts, in the form of a three-phase interior redesign scheduled to begin next month and last through 2020.

The integrity of the 40-year-old building will remain intact, promised MCPL Public Relations Director Robin Kohn; but the inside will undergo a total transformation.
