WARSAW, Ind. (AP) — Northern Indiana prosecutors are dropping their efforts to have a second 12-year-old boy charged as an adult in the April slaying of a 49-year-old man.

Kosciusko County prosecutors on Monday also changed the charge the boy will face at a Wednesday hearing from aiding and causing a murder to assisting a criminal.
