NEW CASTLE, Ind. (AP) — A developer who wants to bring a wind turbine plant to eastern Indiana has signed an agreement to use the former site of a shuttered auto supplier.

Republican State Rep. Tom Saunders announced Wednesday that Washington, D.C.-based D’Arcinoff Group has signed a letter of intent to use New Castle’s former Metaldyne Corp. plant. That plant had been the city’s largest employer until it closed last summer.
