MISHAWAKA, Ind. (AP) — Three Catholic schools in downtown Mishawaka could merge under a proposal being considered by the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend.

Superintendent Mark Myers says concerns about shrinking enrollment and the quality of education have prompted summer discussions about the schools’ future.
