A replica of the Batmobile from the 1966 TV series “Batman” will lead the Michigan City Patriotic Parade on June 19. The Michiana Clowns will also be handing out superhero masks to children to emphasize the “Hometown Heroes” theme.

MICHIGAN CITY — After skipping a year because of the global pandemic, the Michigan City Patriotic Parade will return to Franklin Street on Saturday, June 19.

Beginning at 11 a.m. at 10th Street, the parade will begin its route south down Franklin Street to Ames Field.
