INDIANAPOLIS — Nearly a quarter of Indiana residents age 16 and older are now fully vaccinated against COVID-19, state health officials said Wednesday.

A total of 1,291,190 Hoosiers – 23.7 percent of Indiana’s residents who are at least 16 – have been fully vaccinated, while 1,827,696 first doses of vaccine have been administered statewide, according to the Indiana State Department of Health.
