Gio Laurent and the Michigan City football team will have to wait another two weeks to have their home opener. The entire program was put on a two-week quarantine Monday after a coach tested positive for COVID-19.

MICHIGAN CITY — A string of away games to start the season had Michigan City waiting three weeks to open the home portion of its schedule Friday against Valparaiso.

Now it will be a couple more weeks before the Wolves get to play under the lights at Ames Field.
