La PORTE — With more than $3 million in federal relief funding now secured, La Porte County leaders are considering some major facility improvements intended to help combat the spread of COVID-19.

During a virtual work session on Wednesday, facilities director Larry Levendowski and Auditor Joie Winski discussed several possible coronavirus-related building projects with the La Porte County Council and Board of Commissioners.
