MICHIGAN CITY — An ordinance making it easier to fast-track measures, which failed to pass a Michigan City Common Council vote last year, is back on the agenda with renewed support.

In fact, five of the council’s nine members are listed as co-sponsors this time, making it almost a sure bet for approval – a simple majority is all that’s needed.
