La PORTE — Yet another new business may be setting up shop at La Porte’s NewPorte Landing development.

On Tuesday, the La Porte Board of Public Works and Safety approved an agreement with Jacob & Hefner Associates to perform environmental management work on a vacant lot at the corner of Truesdell and Pine Lake avenues, a part of the 45-acre NewPorte Landing property.
