MICHIGAN CITY – The continued closure of Washington Park will be the topic of discussion when the Michigan City Common Council convenes for the fourth time in two weeks to discuss the issue Thursday.

As it stands, the entire park – including Fedder’s Alley, the zoo, senior center, North Pointe Pavilion and all parking lots – remain closed to pedestrian and vehicular traffic in accordance with the mayor’s most recent executive order, which declared a continuing public health emergency as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
