The Legacy Center Gallery, located on the campus of Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Michigan City, is hosting the artwork of Dale Cooper in its latest installation through March 31. The Gallery seeks to incorporate the parish with the greater arts community. Cooper has worked at the La Porte County Convention & Visitors Bureau for 19 years. As Curator, she creates a space which serves visitors and local artists. She believes there is nothing better than being able to purchase something handmade from your own community. She has also taught art classes, including at the Visitor Center. She taught herself to make paper flowers after seeing one for sale in a store, and now custom designs them for friends and family members. The public is invited to view her work from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. The building is located at 1719 E. Barker Ave., and visitors should enter through the doors off Esther Street.
