MICHIGAN CITY — Police investigated two shots fired complaints within an hour of each other in downtown Michigan City Thursday, one of which left bullet holes in a home and forced a local school into lockdown.

The LaPorte County E-911 Regional Dispatch Center received multiple 911 calls at 10:53 a.m. on April 22 regarding several gunshots being fired in the 1000 block of Franklin Street, a statement from Michigan City Police said.
