La PORTE — Despite a trio of positive COVID-19 cases in the schools, the La Porte Community School Corporation’s resumption of in-person instruction is going smoothly, according to the superintendent.

During his report to the School Board on Monday, Supt. Mark Francesconi updated members on how things are going since the district fully reopened its buildings to staff and students for the 2020-21 school year on Aug. 24.
