MICHIGAN CITY — The efforts of three Michigan City Common Council members to pull $300,000 from the city’s Riverboat Fund to help residents repair their homes have been stalled again.

The council voted 6-3 on Thursday to table the resolution that would provide the money to the North Central Community Action Agency for bringing low-income residents’ homes into compliance with federal guidelines to make them eligible for federally-funded weatherization.
