City Council recognizes La Porte High School robotics team

The La Porte High School SlicerTech robotics team was recognized during the May 15 La Porte City Council meeting. The team presented the city with a signed cone as a token of appreciation for its support of the team. Launched in late 2022, the team participated in the FIRST World Robotics Championship April 19 through 22 in Houston, Texas, a competition featuring 700 teams from 26 countries.
