MCHS crowns homecoming royalty

Michigan City High School crowned Homecoming Queen Aviana Garner and Homecoming King Joshua Schooley on May 26 during graduation practice. From left are Michigan City Area Schools Supt. Barbara Eason-Watkins, Garner, Schooley and assistant superintendent Wendel McCullom. Homecoming, typically held in the fall, was pushed to spring due to COVID-19. Garner, daughter of Jerald Garner and Megan Lamb, will attend Indiana University in Bloomington; and Schooley, son of Charles and Karen Klosinski-Puetzer and Matthew Schooley and Andra Derringer-Schooley, plans to attend the Purdue University Northwest College of Nursing.
