The Girl & The Goat chef to offer meal kits in Long Beach

Chef Stephanie Izard of Iron Chef and Top Chef, and the James Beard Award-winning owner of Chicago’s Girl & the Goat, is bringing her Girl & the Goat-series meal kits to Long Beach this Labor Day weekend. It's a curated meal kit that includes prepped ingredients, sauces and recipes by Izard that can be made all at once for a feast or throughout the weekend for a variety of meals. The kit includes summer favorites like heirloom tomato salad, and lots of snacks like pimento cheese, avocado dip and masa chips. The main event features marinated Kalbi beef ribs, grilled herby shrimp, Korean marinated chicken wings and goat sausage satays with pitas and herb yogurt. It's topped off with a Klug Farm grape pie kit.
