La Porte Middle School eighth-grader Andrew Bussie placed second in the IASP 2023 Martin Luther King Jr. Essay Contest and will receive a scholarship. LPMS sent the top five essays to IASP for this contest, and Andrew was among three state winners. He was honored at Monday’s La Porte Community School Corp. Board of Trustee’s meeting.
