Charles Frietzen Jr. was born in La Porte to Charles and Elizabeth Frietzen. He attended the German Lutheran School and St. John’s Church. He worked at both Lower & Sons and Miller & Sons during his teen years. In 1893, Charles passed away and was buried at the German Lutheran Cemetery.
