Remember when

Chandler Piper posed for this photo in front of Modine on Factory Street in La Porte in the 1930s. Modine Manufacturing is an electrical manufacturing company. In 1916, founder A.B. Modine invented the Spirex Radiator, kicking off the company’s product line. The La Porte branch of Modine was purchased in 1934, the second branch of the company to open.
