Veterans of LP County donate sewing machine

Vietnam Veterans of La Porte County president Ray Kowalski and his sister, Dorothy, decided to donate – in their mother Celia Firanek’s name – her unused Singer sewing machine to the Westville Corrections Facility. On March 30, three members of the Vietnam Veterans delivered the machine, the second donated this year. From left are VVLPC finance officer Jim Davis, WCF program director Rob Kitchen, VVLPC secretary Charlie Martin and Kowalski.
