The Herald-Argus will publish letters from local residents endorsing candidates for the November general election in the Voice of the People column. Letters can be no more than 300 words, and are subject to editing for brevity and appropriateness. Letters demeaning a candidate will not be considered.
Candidates may send letters endorsing themselves, but will be limited to one letter prior to the Nov. 6 election. All other writers will be limited to one letter every 30 days. Letters must include a phone number and address for verification purposes. The author's name and hometown will be published.
