Grace Arnett homered and Regan Hague allowed just four hits as La Porte defeated Hobart 5-1 on Saturday.

HOBART – In softball and baseball vernacular, it’s called getting back on the horse, the opportunity to return to the field soon after a disappointing performance.

That’s what Saturday’s game with Hobart represented for La Porte, which needed to cleanse its palate after an ugly 11-run fourth inning Friday at Munster greased the skids in a season-opening loss for the Slicers.
