UNION MILLS — While Allee Garner was outside the gym doing an interview Tuesday, South Central coach Jan Fitzpatrick popped inside to see what was going on with the rest of the team.

“They were all just milling around. I go, what are you doing?” Fitzpatrick said. “They said, waiting for Allee. I told them, you can still stretch without Allee. You can tell they respect her, they look up to her. She can get them to do a lot of things just by leading by example. It’s going to be hard to fill her shoes.”
