Katelyn Halfacre led Michigan City with 15 points in Tuesday’s loss to Merrillville.

MICHIGAN CITY — Despite a gaudy turnover number Tuesday, it was a particular instance toward the end of the third quarter that Michigan City coach Mike Megyese saw the game turn.

“We’re up 41-36, miss a layup to go up seven and they come down and get fouled on a 3-pointer and hit all three free throws,” Megyese said. “That was the difference.”
