La PORTE – When Bob James was making offensive line assignments in the spring, Braylyn Schultz, his one returning starter, knew where to go.

“We started bringing the offensive line out, I was like, OK, get the No. 1 O group out here. He goes, left tackle, right coach? I said, yep, you got it,” the La Porte head coach said. “He played right tackle last year, but of course, I’ve got him at left tackle to protect who? The franchise, right? That’s why we moved him over. He knew it from day one.”
