CHESTERTON – Basketball can be a demoralizing game when the ball doesn’t go in the basket, and the ball didn’t go in the basket a lot for La Porte on Thursday.

“You can’t win any game shooting 19 percent,” Slicers coach Sarah DeShone said. “We just aren’t taking care of the ball and making easy shots. That’s what this game came down to.”
