Ben Anderson coached the South Central girls basketball team to a sectional title in February. He has also gotten to know all of the softball and baseball players competing in this weekend’s respective state and semistate games in his seven years as either elementary or high school principal.

When the last day of school and graduation are both in the rear view mirror, it usually means a little down time for principals.
June has been just the opposite for South Central principal Ben Anderson, who’s been doing double duty with Athletic Director John Haggard in Florida tending to family matters amid the busiest post-season stretch of Satellites sports in school history.
